Has anyone heard for sure if Easton has dropped the aluminum legacy's ? I've heard rumors but can't find anything for sure. I much prefer the glue on nocks of the legacy's.

They still show them on the website.  Im in the same boat as you Dave.  Gotta keep an eye open in the classifieds. I may have a life time supply but you never know. :biglaugh:

I heard that rumor as well. Would be a shame if it's for sure.

I was told the same thing.  I did some looking around on the Internet tonight and Easton does still show them on their website.

However, when you download their 2022 Hunting catalog, they do not list the Legacy aluminum shafts (only Legacy carbons).  The 2022 catalog still lists Camo Hunter and Gamegetter shafts.  So the message seems mixed.  A quick call to Easton would probably provide a conclusive answer.

Checking some of the online archery suppliers shows that some sizes of Legacy aluminum shafts are still in stock but on any single site, most sizes are out of stock.

I'm seeing the same thing on mixed availability , and it seems the prices have jacked up as well. Well, dang that sucks

I prefer aluminum myself.  I switched from cedar to aluminum in the early 1980s.  I've experimented with carbon but never switched.

I prefer aluminum as well. But I think aluminum is on its way out the door. Every time I go to a shoot, I try to buy the 2117s, 2018s, and 2016s in peoples mixed arrow sets for sale.  Got my hands on some autumn orange shafts that way; I'm saving them for later!

I prefer footed wood arrows, but do like 2219 for hunting, as well.  2314 for 3-D occasionally.

I found 10 XX75 Autumn Orange shafts on Ted Fry's site, bam I snapped them up before I could debate it. They are flyling nicely from my Tradgang Gamemaster Jet.

Aluminum might just be that hard to get and expensive that they aren't running them right now. In my business all manufacturers are struggling to produce product. Everyone is really tired of it and explaining why the product isn't here yet.Get used to it. This is how our Country is now.

I love the Legacy shaft with the swaged nock end.....and as has been reported here, none of the distributers have any of the light or medium spine weights.  A few stiffer spines still available.  I got 24 2016 shafts last year and now I wish I'd have ordered 48 of them instead.  I called around and found 6 shafts in the size I wanted and no more.  I'd love to have a couple dozen 1916s too, but I'm afraid that won't happen.

I shoot mainly wood but I thought I might want some more aluminums to play with, so last winter I ordered a dozen 2016. Couple months later I wanted to get another dozen just to have. They sent me 6. That was all they had and could get.

Some 2117's in the classifieds right now.  To short for me.
