The Postman just delivered my new dozen Zwickey Deltas, and I just finished mounting them....

All I can say is WOW!!!!
I don't know why everyone complains about the factory grind?? These had a slight burr, that was quickly knocked off.

I was always an "ain't broke, don't fix it" guy... I started bow hunting in 1976 with wood arrows and old Bear Razorheads. I did the compound thing for a few years, then gave up bow hunting. Just wasn't the same.
When I got back into this "Traditional" bowhunting thing about 2000, a guy and TradGang member Joe Skipp had a Traditional Archery shop in his basement. He set me up with a used 1967 Bear K-mag and a dozen 55-60# cedar arrows that he made. He put 125gr field points on them and sold me a half dozen Zwickey Eskimos.
"Just mount them horizontal, and they'll fly just like your field points"
Old Woodchucker was a happy Indian!!!

Several years later, my neighbor Lew passed away. His wife Jean gave me all of his hunting stuff.
Including about 2 dozen Easton "Autumn Orange" arrows, and about 3 dozen old Bear Razorheads.
I had Joe refletch the arrows, and started using the Razorheads.

When my son Tyler (Little Bear) started making wood arrows, I pulled the scew adaptors, and we mounted them on our hunting arrows. We always used 125gr field points, and everything flew fine. Over the years, I accumulated about 3 dozen Zwickey Eskimos as well. That was what we used!! :archer: :archer:

A couple years ago, I dropped 10# in bow weight. Little Bear made me new 45-50# arrows to match my new limbs.
I still used 125gr points on my arrows, but it bugged me that I had 4-5 dozen 55-60# arrows around that were in great shape! This year, I got the idea to play around with point weight. The spine chart said a 160gr point would drop the spine to 45-50#...?? I tried it... It worked!!! Arrows fly fine, just not as flat.

I have always carried a Judo point arrow in my quiver, and got to thinking.....
As long as I'm changing points and all, why not change broadheads?? So, I ordered a dozen 135gr 2 blade Deltas, to match my 135gr Judo point arrow. When they arrived today, all I could say was WOW!!!! They are so much bigger than the Eskimos!!! I was impressed by the quality, but more by the factory grind that these came with!!!
I know they were out of stock for a while, due to production issues. (what I heard anyway) Perhaps, the QC in the grinding dept got better as well??!!

Long story short.... You can teach an old wood chucker new tricks!!!!  :archer:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

I really like my Eskimo's but the last set I bought did take me some elbow grease to get sharp.  Magnus Stingers are my favourite followed by Zwickey Eskimos and keep 2 of each in my quiver.

I think there are many places you can find them.  Gone are the days though that they'd come in the 6 pack in the pink fold over paper packaging.   Wish they still came like that  :bigsmyl:

As do I !!! However, The "new" packaging (that I tore apart, lol)
Features 2 molded plastic layers, that the heads sit in, and they snap together for storage.

I got some Zwickey No mercy's from Archery Past. I plan to get some more at Cloverdale, but not guaranteed they'll be there either! This way I at least have enough.
