Folks, the 50th Anniversary of the National Archery Hall of Fame is going  to be held at Bass Pro Shop, Springfield, MO, where it's Museum is, May 20th & 21st, 2022.

This year's event is already looking to be the largest crowd yet to witness the Hall of Fame Inductees.

Diane Miller, C.E.O for the National Archery Hall of Fame, has worked for the past three years to insure that this, the 50th, will be the best and probably never again to be matched in our lifetime. Normally held every two years, but because of the COVID-19 epidemic, it has taken three years to have this one.

Since this is the 50th, several will get to speak on behalf of past inductees. 

One such inductee is Howard Hill, who will be represented by Jerry Hill, as he should be,

Door prizes, auctions and OUTSTANDING fellowship will be in abundance.

Even though more tickets have been sold than were anticipated and the Banquet area has had to be expanded, I believe more tickets are being printed.

One of the many, many items donated for this occasion, is a copy of the book I gave with "The Tradition Lives On" Signature Bow. Several of the outstanding gentlemen who signed the bow and are pictured in the book, will hopefully sign their page in the book before I auction it.

QUESTION: What do you think is most important to keep our sport of traditional archery alive for it's future.

ANSWER: What's most for important for traditional archery? I guess I feel like the promotion of the traditional way of life through traditional archery is what we have to sell. Thepleasures of shooting traditional equipment and the attitudes of those involved is what we have going for us, and we need to sell it.[attachment=1]

Here's another fine gentleman that signed "The Tradition Lives On" signature bow, T.J. Conrads.  Just a snippet of his archery history in the book I had made to go with the bow.  T.J. will also be at this year's 50th Anniversary of the National Archery Hall of Fame.  I am very honored to be able to auction this book at the banquet.

    One of my questions to T.J. was:  Who, in traditional archery, do you feel influenced you the most and was there someone you would call a mentor.
    T.J.'s answer was:     There have been several people who influenced me, and it would be hard to mention them all; however, the first person was Glenn St. Charles, who became a lifetime friend. He and his wife, Margaret, were like grandparents to my young kids, and we would spend Glenn's birthday every year while we lived in Washington at his house, shooting stuffed animals, watching old films, and eating his favorite desert: berry pie.
