On the Broomstick handle by Great Northern if you get that bow in the Hinge style T.D it will have a slight bump on the back of the riser.Guys do use that as a locator. It is small and will fit between the fingers for a consistant hand position. The G.N T.D system is really nice if you dont mind the extra $.

That Fireball should be a nice bow Ken if you get it in the 62 incher.

Good advice!; I'll want the one-piece, rather than the fold-up version.

I'm vacillating on the lengths.... 62" maybe being more smooth and stable, w/less finger angle, while the shorter being more "efficient" use of limb and mass....  Thinking that 58" is just too short, for other than a true recurve.  That's what we used to shoot, 58", back in the 60s/70s.

String angle/finger pinch:  Dunno how/why,, but though I shoot with split fingers and have even shot a tab, I tend to have most of the tension on my ring finger and that finger grows HUGE in size and callused.  I used to have to grease my callused finger...  Wondering if others basically hold/release with one finger, as well?

You will want to use the middle finger the most in drawing and holding  the bow Ken.

I'll have to try this; I've used the ring finger hold for 47-61yrs!  ;=)
