Thanks for the input, guys! I think I may build one more with .001 taper in limbs instead of parallels when I get time.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I would rather fail at something above my means, than to succeed at something  beneath my means

To my selfbow builder's eye, it looks like it's bending too much in the handle. I know the handle is deflexed giving that appearance but the limbs being mostly straight at full draw and not opening up more makes it look like that to me. To my eye, a deflexed handle bow looks best with an arch of a circle tiller. Roy usually gets a good circular tiller at full draw on his R/D bows.
This is only an aesthetics view from a selfbow builder. The numbers show good performance.

I believe you hit the nail on the head when you said "The numbers show good performance."

It is difficult to get that kinda speed out of r/d limbs...  That speed tells me that those limbs are bending close to optimally, if they were not you would lose speed... Sometimes things are not what they appear to be... Because of that recurve throughout the whole limb at brace the limb may appear to be bending more or less in certain areas when it is not...

   My 2cents...

  Addition to my last post...

That's not to say that you could change the bend on the limb and possibly get a more aesthetically pleasing bend ( or something close to what you think it should bend like ) And gain even more speed...  Anything is possible... You never know unless you try... Each design holds it's own secrets... But it is in my experience that 184 to 186 fps tells me that the limbs are bending pretty optimally and it is in my opinion that is a good rule of thumb to go by...

Was quite surprised at the performance truthfully , enough so that I may test it at a different chrono.  It does seem really quick.

It will have to wait til after turkey season tho, bro took it home along with my blind that I despise to sit in.  He has the patience to kill one and a pretty good plan to get it done.  His other bow is 64" , so a "shortie" might be better than a " longie" ...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Crooked Stic

Actually if the string almost touched the belly (more reflex)might be better.
