LOL, it was a tough track that we finished just before rain started! Stress overload...

Liver hit buck that we let go for 5 hours and he never laid down til he fell over. Ended up in 7' tall warm season grass. When he went in there I was beginning to wonder if we would find him with the red stems on some of it. I think it was pure refusal to quit on our part that got us there...

John said he wouldn't stop when he came by stand, he bleated once and the buck kept goin ,then made a loud some kind a bleat noise and he stopped long enough to shoot but hit a bit far back...

Gonna be a danged orange sunrise in the morning. As in blaze orange, but I'll be there. Makin a plan right now, then go thru my pack to see what I can live without(most of it LOL) as it will be a long ways in to the stand I want to be in.
