Kudos to Black Widow

Wanted to give some public praise to the gang at Black Widow.

I sent my PSA III off to get repaired, refinished and have snake skins added (if I'm getting it refinished thought I might as well get her some fancy clothes). This bow is now 13 years old. I won't go into the exact details but it has had a rough couple of years ...accidents and incidents beyond my control (I take care of my weapons). This bow should have bit the dust; lesser bows would have and a few did. It's short of a miracle....even for a robust and well built bow like a Black Widow..that it's still in my hands and functional.

It came back to me looking like a brand new bow. I mean if it wasn't for the date on the bow (was a wedding gift) and the color of the "coin" ...no one on earth would be able to tell the difference between this bow and a new Black Widow of the same make/configuration. The fit, finish and attention to detail are second to none. Due to the repairs needed...the amount is sanding, etc...she came back one pound less in draw weight. No problem, no issue. The snake skins look amazing...would recommend adding skins to anyone with an "autumn oak" or " grey bark" Black Widow who is considering it.

Thanks to the crew at Black Widow for rescuing my beloved recurve and giving new life to this bow.

They make some dang fine bows, and have great customer service. You can't go wrong with there bows, or the company.

Yes, BW make some dandy bows and they take care of their customers. Those snakes really dressed that bow up!

She gorgeous. The skins really set it off.

Don't get me wrong I loved my "plain" PSA III...it was a functional work of art, but the skins definitely take it to another level.

Nice looks good. The older I get the more I like skins. Had a PTFX that had canebrake skins wit Osage and cocobolo. Should have kept that one.

I just got my PTF III back from them. Had a little grip work and weight reduction done to it. Like KentuckyWolf, it looks like new.

They are a top notch company for sure. No surprise to me. I had a accident with a PTF once and thought it was probably gonna be told it's junk but came back like new. Wish I still had that bow.

I sent a recurve to be repaired. Great customer service. Can't say enough good things about Toby and the team. We even talked about elk hunting a while. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I have never owned one but have had buddies that do. They are about as bomb proof as it gets. Enjoy
