I'm up here just west of Syracuse visiting my brother (not a bowhunter) and man these fall woods are as beautiful as ever.  He is a gun hunter and although I've come here to hunt with him a few times I normally don't for a variety of timing issues. 
Although Texas is my home and I love it the north woods is something I think everyone should experience at least once in their lives.
