Do these bows shoot as good as they look? Any information would be appreciated!

I have a Sauk Trail Highline that I bought used.  The bow was tiller for 3 under and a bit too light for me.  I sent the bow to Mike and he cut to 60", re-tillered for split.  Very nice shooting Hybrid longbow-flatbow.  The bow "opens up" at my draw and the grip is super ergonomic.  When you have a bow that will bare shaft wood, it is on the mark.  My highline has bamboo core, spalted maple veneers, G-10 in the riser with Walnut.

That's a sweet looking bow Jeff, but somebody cut the shelf on the wrong side of the riser!!!

Well, since my Spirit Animal right handed has rabies  :scared:, I have to use these southpaw bows now...October is around the corner my friend, time for serenity in the forest.

I thought you told me at Chester that you were back to right handed again???

I hope it's all working for you, no matter which hand you are using!

Sweet looking bow dragonheart. I think the shelf is on the right side. Anybody have any experience with the Medora model. I'm looking for a shorter longbow.

I have a 54" Medora 41lbs at my draw length. It's my first custom bow and I couldn't be happier. I'd been shooting a Samick Verna the past 6 years and recurves prior to that. Mike was great to work with as well.[attachment=1]

My Kenu was a work of art, Kudu riser fades, and antler tip, and sold it 2 days later, the guy that got it from me sold it within a week..Maybe it was a dud, or the 52" short part, but will say the owner was a stand up fella..I believe there longer bows can compete..Just my 2 cents..

I saw Sauk trail bows at the Compton meet. Realized I live a few towns away from them. Small world :) I later went to a 3d shoot at Joliet archery club. Sauk trail had a bunch of bows there. I shot a one piece recurve ( sorry can't remember which model) I have a Wing- red wing hunter and Bear -grizzly . The Sauk trail bow is way smoother to draw and shoot. Compared to what I paid for a used grizzly I thought his prices were very reasonable. I really like the new 2022 Bear Kodiak , but my next bow will be from Sauk trail.
