I just got my Black Widow PMA in yesterday. I have to say I wish I would've found this bow a long time ago,it would have saved me a lot of money.

Black Widow shows 9 inches down to 8.25 inches for the brace height. It came and was at nine, and this morning it has stretched out to eight and eleven sixteenths. Both seem to be doing well, and if I'm getting a good release it's more quiet than I thought it would be with no sort of silencers on it.

I forgot to mention it is the 62 inch recurve. I know all this is personal to the shooter, but wanted to see what all you were running for brace height with this bow?

Ryan Rothhaar

Been mainly shooting Widow MA's for 30 years. I like around 8 3/4 on my 62 and 64 inch bows. For me if it gets under 8 1/2 I get fliers.

That's about what it was at this morning Ryan, and it's doing well. I'll see if it stretches anymore, and see how it does. I've always shot bows at the medium to high end of the brace height range.

I cannot get over the grip on this bow. It is the standard grip, and there is no torque. Most of the bows I shoot I have to try very hard not to move my bow arm at release, that's not the case with this bow. I also like how heavy it is.

I had all the inserts except for sights. This could be the one!! I shot what like you are talking about Ryan at camp last year, and that's when I put the order in!

McDave

It's a great bow.  I shoot a PSA now, but I've had PMA's before, and wouldn't mind having one again someday.  BW stock strings are not prestretched, so you will probably continue to see stretch for the next few weeks, so just keep twisting it up and don't worry about it.  The weight of the PMA does give one a feeling of being in better control of the bow, but it is just as important to keep a solid bow arm with a PMA as with any other bow.  I also have some lighter weight bows, and occasionally I like to return to one of them to give myself a reality check as to how well I'm shooting the bow vs how well the bow is shooting for me.

Enjoy your new bow. One of my "life's mistakes" was while visiting BW I didn't buy a PMA that fit me. At the time I was hot to trot for a LB or the PSR. But this lonely Greybark PMA was calling me. So I shot it with their mismatch arrows and I made a group inside the LB group. But being not so smart at times I hung it back up. I wasn't half way back to the airport before I started to regret my decision. Oh well,

60 Gunner unless my shooting changes drastically,I will not get rid of this bow! I've had this bow a day and half and have shot some really good groups.

Are they cut past center? I'm having a little bit of a hard time getting perfect flight. I've got some pretty stiff spine arrows and they are pretty close, but not perfect by any means. I'm used to center cut and can guess almost right on,but I'm having a bit of trouble here. I might have to get my paper tuner out.

PMA is consistent and great shooting bow. I have BW's like them all but the PMA is my favorite.

It's cross cut green leaf with no red,and elm limbs. It looks better in person. I think it's a good looking combo.

It's liking the higher end of the brace height for me.

I just looked at the pictures on my computer after posting with the phone. This bow looks much better in person.

Very nice! I've had a few of BW's longbows, and a couple PSAs, and am using a PSA now again... keep coming back. I could have saved a lot of money too! I've also wondered if there might be a PMA would be in my future.

InFamousElGuapo

Man that is a great looking bow! I actually love the combo. I will probably order me one for the next year as well. I just need to decide on a grip....
