Sidelined Again

Well last deer season was a bust, because my wife had a hip replaced in September, so I missed almost the entire season helping her. Today, I was just cleared by the Cardiologist to undergo back surgery, which has been slated for 8-19-21. I'm not sure how long it will be before I will be able to handle a hunting weight bow. If this surgery goes well, shooting/hunting should be enhanced due to the ability to once again do stuff without my back going out all the time. So, I will expect lots of stories with plentiful pics from you guys to help me make it through the slow times.

We will have some from the Laredo Tusk Roundup in January and February.

I'm sure I'll be putting pigs on the ground. Deer too if they get too close. A few stray exotics around as well as turkeys.

Good luck Sam. I had back surgery Oct 2019 (2 rods, 10 screws) sat out all of hunting season. After 12 weeks was allowed to start shooting a 20# recurve. At 20 weeks was shooting 40# and was able to turkey hunt in April. Follow your doctors orders and push yourself when allowed.
