Hey guys new member here, just joined trad gang. Im going back to traditional this year with a longbow. I used a compound the last few years but before that shot and hunted with a recurve i had built by predator bows out of tawas, i took 3 does with that bow and it gave me the feeling i never quite got from taking deer with a compound. I took my first recurve deer at age 23 im now 30 soon to be 31, i have 3 kids and a good woman who lets me hunt alot lol anyways gonna be getting a longbow and gonna get some arrows built and let the journey begin. Im also interested in checking out some gatherings or rendezvous or hunts with like minded trad guys , if anyone ever wanta to shoot pm me if your close im game!

I ain't from Michigan, but welcome anyhow. I do have a daughter living in Lansing, so I do have some connection there. By the way, I have visited a few times and saw some areas that really looked like good hunting grounds.

Stay away from Comptons it can lead lots of money spent on new toys and all kinds of other bad habits. Welcome to the site.
