The deer help me find my arrows. Look closely at the arrow sticking in the tree  above the deer, it lead me right to to it. This was after the miss on another one, it saw the shot, felt no danger, and walked right under it!
If only I would have Red broadheads!

Well... I don't believe anything I read, and only half of what I see, and that's all I got to say about that.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

In a hundred years I can just visualize loggers timbering the area you hunted and finding all these arrow points and broadheads in the trees, thinking about the cave man who hunted here.

If they only knew it was a tree hugger:)

I was given permission to hunt this property. This was my first time there, went to scout for some good trees to shoot. Sure glad I wasn't coming out after dark and hit this with my flashlight! It wasn't the only thing like this in that mountain!  :o

Green broadheads don't produce good blood trails!
If you want some real wood penetration try some Red ones!  :deadhorse:

Asking for a friend:)

How'd the saying go?    "Rather be dead than red on the head?" I think that originated around the FIRST knappers fire in 5,653 BC.
And when they discovered the Iceman they found no red broadheads. That was confirmation. It has been believed the red broadhead people died out before the Iceman. But I think Pine is one of the last of the last descendants. That's the purpose for the original post.
The hunt is the trophy!

Red broadheads are essential! There have been times that I wish I had one!

Yep, them trees ain't gonna shoot themselves Roy! Haven't you heard of stump shooting, well I don't wait for them to become stumps!
Shot this one back when I wiz a youngen! Used a Red single bevel head, see how it split.  :campfire: Now something peeping out at me!

Thanks; but I can't take all the credit myself. Actually most all the pictures are were from a friend, the guy pictured in one of them, been kind of a ongoing joke through the years.  :archer2:
But here is the real issue!...

Now I see It's not really a red broadhead just a red Ferrell. Those are fine.
