So sad to hear this. Prayers for Steve's family during this hard time.

Prayers going out for Steve's family, I never knew Steve personally but remember all his post's about all his Bear bows and the beautiful strings he made. I'm sure Steve will be missed by many.

Peace and prayers to Steve's family and friends. Steve was a great promoter of traditional archery and a great guy.

I had several strings he made, they are worn out now because they were about the best you could get. What is good is that Steve spent time at a show while he was making strings sharing with me how he built him them. I still use those lessons to build my own strings. It would be a good goal to pass that knowledge on as Steve did.

I will miss him. bought, sold and traded with Steve for about 30 years.

DawgDoc

I never knew him personally but bought some strings from him on several occasions. I used to enjoy the website he had with all his accent strings. Sad to hear this oddly enough I was sitting at my desk a few months ago contemplating a new string and wondering how to get in touch with him...

MikeNova

I remember buying a string from him.

Ken Sorg

This really breaks my heart. We talked on the phone quite a bit and always talked about meeting up at Cloverdale one year, it just never worked out though. I bought lots of Bear collectibles and strings from him, but speaking with him about the history of archery was awesome. Rest In Peace brother :(

Terry Green

No wonder he did it email me back or call me back. He was a great sponsor of Tradgang for years and years and years.  I hate to hear this but I really am glad that I at least know since he didn't return my calls or emails.

What a great guy and a Patriot for traditional bow hunting, who loved Tradgang to the most.

I had no idea.... sad to say the least... God Speed to his family. ...
