Quick question on Brace & Tiller

Been out of the traditional game for a little due to the lose of most of my middle finger on my right hand. Bought a used DAS Dalaa 17" riser off a member and a set of Dryads ACS-RCTX recurve limbs (XL). Trying to get into shooting again and need a recommended starting point for brace height & limb tiller. Gonna try 3 under. Any buddy have a setup that works good I will use it as a starting point and fine tune from there.

I used to have a Dalaa, and used a brace height of 7 1/2". Since you have a hybrid setup, you might need some further adjustment, but it would be as good a place as any to start.

I shoot three under and just shoot any ILF with even tiller.  I just shoot limb bolts down and that is how it ends up.
I have tendon issues in my hand and drag the thrid finger so I always have a bit of a pluck resuting in a high nock point.

Thanks for the information. I have Dryad ACS - RCTX limbs on a DAS Dalaa 17" riser and with the limb bolts tight the tiller is off  over 1/4". I backed the bottom limb off a turn and 1/2 to get even tiller.

You don't want to tighten the limb bolts tight so they bottom out the limbs.  They should always be backed off at least a half a turn.  In your case, that would be 1/2 turn for the top limb and 2 turns for the bottom limb.

BTW, the tiller isn't "off" with the limb bolts tightened.  The most common set up for a bow is about 1/4-inch positive tiller.  Folks have to standardize somewhere and Dryad apparently went with the conventional standard for tiller.  Of course, the advantage of an ILF bow is you can change it.
