I know there have been threads about bow holders/displays, but not finding anything about a knife display. Like most here, I have collected a good collection of knives in my 30+ years of bow hunting, and with 3 kids getting into the sport the collection is getting more nostalgic as memories are made. I guess I feel a little bad that the knives are just stored away in a drawer. If you made something, or found a commercially made display please post them for ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Personally,  I would like to be able to have easy access.  Maybe a few cases.

I use to have a coffee table with a 3" storage under a glass top, that was a great display for knives

Ron that sounds like a great idea. I'll have to get to building.

Like you, Wade I keep my hunting knives in a cabinet but this is how I displayed my stone knives. I think I got this case from a thrift shop but all sizes can be ordered online.

Displaying a knife collection is not all that easy and sorta depends on how much room you have, and whether you want to go horizontal or vertical, buy or build.   I have a rather large collection and had them in a display case with shelves and glass doors for years. I moved about a year ago and repurposed the case, so had to put the collection on shelves.  For one thing, keep the blades well oiled. Secondly, take a look at Pinterest which will give you so many pictures of display options you want know what to pick.

I have one knife in a walnut glass top display case. Similar to ones shown in this thread.

My late father in law displayed his knives in a tall case, about 6 feet or so tall, glass all four sides, glass shelves, door on one side, lighting so the displayed items look good when you turn on the light.  Maybe about 14 inches by 14 inches square.

Something like this:

I found plans from the show "this old house" that the wife approved of. Kids and I bought the materials last weekend and this upcoming weekend we are getting to the build as a family project. Thanks for the replies guys!
