Just retrieved these today. I put this salt lick in about 25 years ago along a major trail coming through our 25 acres. Never know who will come through...
Here is Flossy about to pop...

...and her turkey buddy back over her shoulder to the left...

...then you've got this guy slipping through...

...and Momma and the kids. Momma is in the left corner...

...and a close up of Momma...

Busy spot. About 100 yards, as the crow flies, from my house.

The boys are back. Brow tines, stickers and a good bit of mass.

I don't get to most of my cameras often. Just pulled the card on this one yesterday. Had some fine bucks cruise through this spot.

These were 11" - 12" six points last year. I've fed a corn/protein mix this year and they really blew up.

Wow Scott that one will get your heart pounding...

Everyone is posting some great images!  Keep it up. back on 14 Jul I put 10 cameras out but the weather here has been so hot and dry that I haven't been back to change the cards. Air quality from fires is so bad that they recommend limiting outdoor activity.  I don't want my truck license # recorded anywhere near a trailhead where a new fire might pop up. Hopefully we will get a break in the weather starting this weekend.
If I'd known that I would live this long I'd have taken better care of myself.

Hope to be putting my cameras out this weekend...

Want to get them out before Early Bear Season in Sept. :archer:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

Just got these this week. 1 1/2 hours SW of St Louis. Believe the fawn is what they call leucistic.

When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work
