Super Short FHLB

After several weekends of designing, building a form, and making riser templates for the sander, I finally glued up a test bow today. With my short draw I wanted something super short for hunting this year and on this form I can build a 48-52" bow. This test bow has Black Walnut cores and riser with black Gordon glass. I went with a 14" riser and .003 total taper. I'll see where I am with weight on this first bow and adjust from there.

Interested to see string profile on it . I had to back off to .001 taper to get mine to look like I wanted it to .

Kenny, I go .002 on my short hybrids but have never built a bow with .003 taper. Did I goof up on this one?

Not neccessarily , mine shot ok but looked like a coat hanger with the hook cut off, kind of just a triangle...

Thats why I was wanting to see the braced profile. I wanted some curves in mine when braced...
