I built a box to ship my bow in. It seems like nobody has any pvc in stock right now. Since everyone has been staying at home due to this damned virus, everything is in short supply or ridiculously overpriced. 2x4's are selling for about a dollar a foot.
Anyway, I also shot 140 arrows through it today and I have something extra made to go with it. I made a new string for it yesterday. I just need to touch up a small cosmetic defect and I can ship.

I usually go to a store that sell floor carpets and collect the thick hard pipes that are in the middle of carpet rolls. They just throw them away. Some are made from thick cardboard and some from pvc.

We sometimes get big cardboard tubes at work, but I haven't seen one in some time.
The box was easy enough and it won't roll off the conveyor at the sorting station.
