Wow!

There are a lot of good looking bows being built.  Makes me feel more like a slug with my lack of progress.  Doc says another three weeks before I can go back into the shop.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

At least you have a Doc's note. Makes me feel like less than a slug.

Relax guys, there is plenty of time to make a bow.

No worries Walt. I think we can all agree you have some extenuating circumstances.  We will accommodate as necessary.

Spraying my swap bow tonight if it warms up a little. It's normally good weather in Southern Utah this time of year but it snowed yesterday.

Longcruise

I'm in a disconcerting pause state and it's kinda irritating.   The weather has been a major impediment for me since most of my work is done outside.

On top of that,  I was giving my form a close inspection yesterday and in the right light there were some very slight dips visible.   This form was a PITA from the git go.  Started with the "router incident" :(

I'm going to rip the glass strip off a work on it some more.   If that's not satisfactory I'm gonna make a new template and re do it.

So,  that's my report for the week.

Welllll... It finally looks like a good day to paint...  It is dead calm and foggy and everything is covered in dew... It has been very dry and windy for the last week which makes for lots of dust in the air... I'll wait until the fog burns off but before the wind picks up and the dew leaves... (old indian trick)

Who says I'm not patient??     It's like I'm stalking my prey...   ;)
