Yep 4 point, green glass is my favorite. Limbs are straight and I hit the weight I was shooting for.

4 point

Kyle why do you leave the area outside the fades flat like that in your early tillering?

Okay I got these limbs cleaned up and drilled today. Riser drilled and string check. Looks good. I did put the tillering blocks on it and these limbs may be heavy. Will find out tomorrow. Have tip overlay material with epoxy now.

I think it's to keep from over stressing the fades.
I messed up a good many before I started doing the same thing

It's just a tillering shape I've had good luck with and get performance that makes me happy. I generally save making the first few inches out of the fades do much more than just wiggle until the last few Inches of draw length. They are moving like I have them, but not much. If you closely watch while working the limbs on the tree you can see them move. But I'm exaggerating the tiller more than normal due to the limb profile I'm aiming for. Which it a gentle widening of the limbs from handle to midlimb with no distinct fade. So since it's narrower than mid limb and thicker due to being closer to t he handle, I don't want to see that area bending much. Where it's currently at I can finish off the tillering with just a few scrapes in the inner limb at this point.

I hope that makes sense.

I think PatB said he wait's until last to finish the fade area.

Good job Roy...   I

I got the grip rough shaped today...  Got it a lb. or two over weight before final sanding...  And Sparky failed me...  I want my money back...     :)  Everything ran smooth so far...  :dunno: What's up with that???   Fingers crossed...

I'm working on getting the tips shaped and nocks recut but once I get t. Bow done and shooting to make me content, I picked up something interesting I hope will work for a handle wrap. A little sharkskin. I happened to be in Springfield for work and Springfield leather had some skins on sale, so figured, why not.
