I pulled my second bow out of the clamps yesterday and I'm not too happy with it.
The glue lines aren't the best and I think the riser looks odd.
I'll be gluing up another one this weekend and I'll start tillering the first one as well.
" Vegetarian" another word for bad hunter.

Crooked Stic

This aint it but it is what the victim riser will look like.

Here's the braced and in hand ful draw for the black locust sapling bow. My arrows are 32" from nock to head, so there's a lot sticking out there.

Looking good everybody.

I have been helping a friend the past few weeks finish several bows he started many years back.  The new jigs are dialed in, waiting on some glass and accents coming from Kenny before starting my trade bow.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

here are the tips and underlays I glued on Yesterday

Ready for my riser overlays.
Red Phenolic maple and Bocote

I use this packing foam on my form for overlays, I rip it to width and resaw it to 1/4"

With the foam in and clamped down I'm going to cook it at about 120* for 6 hours and take it out Tomorrow

I finally made some dust today. I am going very simple this year, almost boring, but at least it's purdy wood.

Still need to glue it up but here's the layout, Bocote with a couple maple accents
