Ok is the EA40 still wet after it's cured?:)

And your heat source box, is it a drying box, curing box, or heat box?

 :wavey:

EA40 will harden at 45* but will take about 3 days to do it.

Shredd

"Harden"..??  Now don't go confusing the man...

NO NO NO..... STOP

You don't need 150 degrees for a BBO bow, on top of that 150 degrees will dry the crap out of the boo and Osage and probably crack the boo .

80 degrees is plenty hot enough to dry the EA40...

EA40 will dry in 24 hours at room temp of 70 degrees.

Looks nice, Vince.

Put 3 hours in the shop this morning, all cleaned up and ready for string grooves.

No pictures, was busy.... ok I forgot...

24 degrees outside and 72 inside, perfect, except the concrete driveway was solid ice.

Shredd

Another piece of the puzzle...   Light Mottled Sheoak, Wenge and Paduak...  Can't see the grain in the pic but should have some beautiful chatoyance when finished...

86* here...  Sweating my a$$ off...  Supposed to be 70's to low 80's all week...  Drop down to 60* Saturday...

Nice! I like the canine and the wood combo.
I got some core lams and bamboo planed and tapered and cut out another maple riser so I can do one plain and one with a footing. I have enough bits ready to glue up my first one tomorrow. 😁

My heart goes out to you guys...  I am spoiled...  But you all don't have to live in 90* heat 5 month's of the year...

I don't have the best accommodations but any of you all are welcome to come visit to escape the winter blues...  Except for Roy...  I heard that guy will drink all your beer...

Roy from Pa

LOL,  haint had a beer in 3 weeks

Shredd

You must be damn thirsty...

You know I'm kidding Roy...  You are welcome also...  I'll just hide my beer...

16* at lunch down to 5* tonight, this is 2" of sleet, we were suppose to get 10" snow today but missed us.
Had to dig the door out on the barn so I didn't get locked in the bow shop

I got the riser back pattern sanded
The upper part of the maple is not curly up high

all of the un-curly was cut off
