Green, yellow and black... it might catch on

I am having to hold out for warmer weather to work on mine, the 80K torpedo heater I have gets pretty small in these single digit days we are having.
Skeater who?

Longcruise

Too dang cold in the garage.   Got a few more tweaks to make on the form but the cold is too distracting for precise work.

I'm not giving up on the carbon cloth for stability but for round 1 I'll use stabilcore

Walt touching a planer knife makes me cringe.
I used to push wood through the jointer without a push block until I smartened up.
Working in the cold is a problem too. I lost my grip on a small panel I was molding on the router and hit the bit with a finger tip. Ouch.

Roy, when you use those C clamps, do ya go over them a time or 3 as glue squeezes out?  I do on riser blocks but haven't done a whole limb with them...

Ordered some gnarly veneers today.  Can't wait to see what they look like in person.

How is everyone doing?  Any issues cropping up?

OldRawhide42

Kenny the only limb failure I have had was from doing that with C-clamps . It made a dry joint.

Only problem I have is the cold. It takes quite a bit for my little heater to warm up the shop to where I can get some work done.
That said, I'm now on a four day weekend, so I'll try and get a bow glued up.

Trying to keep in Chris's good graces, but posting progress once a week when you ain't doing nuthin is depressing. I guess I thought about it a little and pulled out a scrap to make some veneers out of some day. I've got to get the wife's garage/addition through concealment soon or I'm a dead man. And the real job keeps getting in the way. And ...  :help:
