Mark that is sharp as heck.

LOL on skeaterbaits horny hat:)

I had to start another bow today.

Made the first one asymmetrical and didn't like how it was working out, so I cut 1.5" off the top limb and moved the arrow shelf.

Had to remove a lot of wood getting it back in sync and dropped below my victim's draw weight.

This bow will be symmetrical like all the other bows I've made.

Gonna be Osage belly, tapered Osage core lam, backed wif boo.

Ya all have any idea how fast a Grizzly 1.5hp 80 inch edge sander with 60 grit paper will rip the end of your thumb nail off?

Pretty damn fast, LOL......

wood carver 2

Probably about as fast as my rigid belt sander with a 36 grit belt on. Don't ask.

That's looking great Mark!

I got the longstring on mine. I thought I had the floor tillered closeish, nope. Pulled to weight on the longstring and it only made it to 8", if that. That's what o get for liking heavy bows I guess. This is first flex with a string. I may get a rasping or two in before I call it quits for the night

Kyle

Mo_coon-catcher

Well it's at a low brace of 3.5" and is pulling weight at about 16". Now to rasp once more and super glue the knots for a little peace of mind. Then I'll up to full brace from there. I need to do a little alignment to get things where I want them, but it's not too bad. I should be able to get to where I normally do a second heat treat without any issues.

Skeeters must be the delux version.
His has fuzzy wraps so his horns don't get cold.

kennym

I'd say that guy with the horns and fur at the BLM and antifa riots and the capitol attack may be selling his soon...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I see tip overlays in skeaters hat.

Birdbow76

I'll be building a forward handle mild ref/def for my victim. Built 2 bows over the last 2 weeks getting things dialed in. Waiting on some supplies from Kenny and we'll be ready to go.

Probably as fast as a Jet Planer when it hits the tip of a middle finger.

So you know it really happened. :goldtooth:
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
