The expectation of receiving a new bow propagates elevated anticipation and remains a thrill which brings elevated anticipation.

The preconception and contemplation have been quite stirred with a new Bob Lee Ultimate projected to be delivered in February.

Are there many others anticipating a new bow this year?

No additional bows in the stable.  Three of the four I have and shoot are no longer being made, so I'll hang on to them.  It's still a treat to shoot the bows I love.

I just received a new to me Toelke Super D.  Very happy with it so far.  I don't have plans to buy any more bows in 2021, but I feel like I might have said that last year before I bought/sold/traded several!   :biglaugh:

Yes! There is an extremely special  Tall Tines recurve on order.  I don't see any bow i will ever own having more meaning than this on. The wife got it has a wedding/birthday/christmas gift.  It will be 45@28.  Will be engraved with interlocking hearts with our names in them our wedding date under that. Above them the bows name "lovebird" the string will be our two girls favorite colors (purple and pink) the limb bolt screws will be antler bases from a set of sheds my grandpa found and made into rattling antlers.  The quiver will be laser engraved with picture that my dad drew.  It might be difficult to take it into the brush and risk getting a scratch! Im planning on shooting the new greenwood arrows out of it but will have tk see what it likes best. Going to be a long wait until summer.

Picked up a used Two Tracks Flat bow and a Hill Big Five, new to me!  Both shoot nice. A couple of ILF combos I'm playing with also !!

I'm having a Yellowstone Half Breed being built. Should be here sometime early spring.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

I've been bad! I have a Centaur 64" sometime this year a Dwyer original being made, and I'm going to get one of the Bear mag risers too :archer2:

Picked up a Martin Mamba last weekend.  Just ordered a string for it from Daniel at HCB.
Randy (Primal Tech bows) has my longbow limbs done.  I need to get my riser to him to get them fit up.  I'd like to be able to just switch limb sets for different rounds at TBOT shoots this year.  Assuming they don't get canceled of course.
I have no plans for any other bows but I tend to stay flexible on things like that.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

I hope to pick up an A Bear TD riser this year.

In a week or two I'll receive a Toelke 66" Classic Whip, ziracote riser, myrtlewood veneers. It's the first new bow from Dan in a few years and I'm looking forward to it

No plans now for anything new or used in '21...BUT, that's been known to change !

While there is no current plan to buy a new bow this year I do reserve the right to change my mind as the need arises  :bigsmyl:

I talked to Steve last week at Northern Mist and he was finishing up my bow.... so I should get it soon. Been a long wait, since April, but I know it is worth the wait. It is a Ramer with Flame Birch and antler tips. At 74 yrs old this could be my last one and I am blessed to have a Silvertip recurve and now a quality longbow... something special about carrying a longbow...

I was supposed to pick up my Northern Mist Skanee at the Trad Bow Expo in Kalamazoo, but those plans have changed with its cancelation.  It's a 66" bow 55# @ 28".  Osage riser with flamed birch veneers and bamboo cores, but since Steve has to ship it, I decided to have him build me an extra set of limbs that will make a 60" bow, and 45# @ 28" and having these done with Osage veneer.

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.
