Went to see my maple man yesterday. Told him I need some perty birdseye maple.
He had this beauty waitin for me. Also got some nice curly maple with a lil spalt to it thats 2" thick. [attachment=1][attachment=2][attachment=3]
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Forgot to mention, that birdseye board is 4/4 thick x 7"x8'.  Can get some killer veneers out of it.

That's some nice lumber. I can't even go and buy any with this lockdown we're under. In order to get wood, I have to order it online and pick it up in the parking lot. ( and hope it's not junk ).

Those are some beautiful pieces. You are lucky, I'm guessing thats local wood. That would cost me a mint here in conifer country.
