Roy, it works very well. It is a pneumatic drum with replaceable sandpaper tube. I have this small one in the pic and a larger one. They makes a lot of dust though so I like to use them outdoors. I bought them from Grizzly.

I got one...  Works great...  Used it yesterday... Yes you can replace the tubes...

   Quick story...
         I probably mentioned my buddy passed on about 9 months ago...  I go and visit him a day or two before he passed...  6 months before he said that he had some calipers that I can have...  Mine were acting up...  He used to be a machinist...  I asked him if I can have those calipers?? He said yes, go out in the tool box and get them...  I came back with the calipers and a 2 inch micrometer...  I said can I have this too??  He said, are you kidding me?? That cost me $300...  I was like, ok...  I am not gonna argue with a dying man...   I knew he wasn't right in the head...  I still laugh at that to this day...  I know wherever he is he is probably laughing at it too...

The sander Bue, I did see that on Grizzly site, might have to order one....

Looks like the sanding drums are $8.00 each, damn,,,

Roy, look around at different sandpaper suppliers and you might find the replacement sanding drums at a better price. I doubt that the ones Grizzly sells are a unique size.
