I called the people from Niff T Seat and they said they are probably not gonna be making any more seats. So now I am looking for something like the seat. can anybody help me out with some suggestions, something that is small like that and compact and you can use it anywhere.

The more I use my  Waldrop pack seat the more I like it

If you like the Niff T seat put a search on eBay, guy sold one about a week ago looked new.

The BBC Torges Tree Seat is just as portable and won't damage trees.

I like the Hammock seat and Low Down seat by Fanatic outdoors. You do need a tree, but that's about it.  Very comfortable.

I second the Hammock seat.  Very comfortable.  I wouldn't try to find a Nifty T seat if you are planning on having any children! :bigsmyl:

Hammock seat and Waldron pack seat!  I have both.  Hammock seat is more comfortable but the pack seat is more versatile. Which one I use depends on my ground setup.

I don't know anything about this one, but it has a lot of features reminiscent  of my old Niff-T-Seat.  I actually think it might be a bit more comfortable for a longer sit.  When my rear was younger, I could sit without moving for about 1 1/2 hours without moving on the Niffty.  Now, it is closer to 30 minutes before I have to shift or stand, and I find myself using it only a time or two each season.

Take a look an see what you think:

I use a Torges seat. I can set it up in most places I hunt, and it is nice to have something to lean against. I've hung it on some pretty small trees.

That being said, the slough stool would work great in some places that I want to hunt where the wind is wrong to setup on dry ground and there are no trees in a downwind marshy area.

My wife just got me the compact swivel chair. It seems pretty stout and is a little taller than some .  Should work great with a ghillie.  Has bigger feet so it don't sink, and adjustable length legs for rough ground.

Think I'm gonna like it pretty well...

Think I still have 1 or 2 Nifty-T seats laying around somewhere.  Used to use them extensively.  Now I usually use a Millennium Tree Seat when ground hunting.

I have niftys which are nice for short sits  but the waldrop pac is the seat I like the best for hunting all day especially with a back pack attached to the back so everything is right there! if you really want a Nifty type seat especially with more comfort than an actual nifty do a search for a Horse Farrier Seat,,  tie para cord on it for a sling to carry over your  head and shoulder then  paint the metal a earth tone color,,,, I have a couple vintage leather ones I bought off  the auction site for less than 20 bucks.

I love the options listed above as they all look great. But for me I love my simple Niffity seat. Been the death of alot of deer for me. So versatile. Yeah it's not lazy boy comfortable but I don't expect that out in the woods.

Cabelas has a Marsh Seat which is a similar design to the Nif-T-Seat.

I use torges seat, but years ago, I took piece of 2x4, cut a 1" hole in it, mounted that under plywood cut for my seat, then walk in insert wood dowel and sit.
