Holy crap Mark, it looks like spots carved out of the rainforest!

He's in Mississippi, so you're not far off. Those of us used to the prairies and mountains of the west never see forest like that.

Rich it's good to take a break or switch gears now and again it keeps balance in your life after all it's a hobby for most ,not naming names but other wise you turn into a crotchety old man before you know it  I haven't made a bow in a while sense my wife's health turned south in a hurry but got a couple of self & glass bows still setting in the works , Rich some times you just have to balance things out, it all usually works out in the end ,I find over doing it some times stifles my creativity and usually come back with lots of new thoughts hope ,the same for you !

Schredd, enjoy working on your property.

At 72, I work a 2-4 hours on it and come in a nd take a nap on my recliner. I enjoy that but I can't do much more.

This is what we get about every 3/4 years in Mississippi



My dad and I poured a concrete Donut to build a fire in the middle, when it rained would had to stay in the house, so the first summer we built the Gazebo with a gap up top to let the smoke out over the fire pit.
We spent many hours out there during hunting season solving the world problems. This was our favorite place to set.
