Don't forget your helmet and athletic cup that day.

You would think someone with the last name of painter could draw better than that...

I'm a bowyer not an artist:)

My most fantastic and painful (in many ways) blowup was on a super snaky bow.  Took a shot to the ribs that left a nasty bruise.  Thankfully no head damage.  But I'm sure YOU'LL be fine :)

Thanks John
I heat corrected some propeller out of one limb last week.
The dog leg area (the hump on the right) has been wanting to bend from the start, so I clamped a 3/16"x 4" long scrap piece to the belly while doing the floor tiller, and it still is wanting to bend, so I glued 3 veneers .020 each (.060) and now it's NOT bending.
I braced it to 3" the other day while scraping and now to 5"
And the serving wrap is off
I'm getting somewhere now :bigsmyl:

That's quite the bowstring you have there with the turnbuckles. You could fool a newbie into believing that they're there to adjust brace height.
Dave.
" Vegetarian" another word for bad hunter.

Love the bow string. Hope it works out for ya Mark.

Mad Max

Thats a patent pending 6 color bow string

Here is the patch of veneers I glued to the belly.
This is where the serving wraps were.
With the linen on the back and the veneers on the belly it should be good.
