bigbob2

wow that is looking great!. Looks good on the tree too.

Mad Max

Thanks bigbob2

I got the snake skins out and use some masking tape to get the scales off.
Then I soaked them in water until the were soft, dried them off good and used some Titebond 3 on the skins.

All glue on.
I got a dress on that girl now :bigsmyl:

I'm getting ready to clear coat it.
I use a 1/8" dowel I get from Lowes 36" long and cut a short piece, drill a 1/8 hole in a lam scrap and into the riser site window about 3/16" and super glue it in.

Well Hell, First time I got runs from VHT. :knothead: I used clear gloss and now I need to wait 7 day for it to cure, Bummer July 20th untill I can sand it some more. :knothead:

That looks sharp Mark. Color combo is spot on.

Looks like ya got a little orange peel. I had the same problem with the gloss VHT. I never did figure out how to get it to lay down flat. I had no problems with the satin, but gloss was a whole different animal. That is why I finally broke down and went with Tbird.

I think I'm going to finish it up with the Matt clear

Those skins really compliment the colors in the woods used, Mark. Very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

You done good....really good!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
