Anyone ever use this and notice a performance loss in the bow due to extra stuff on the limb?[attachment=1]

I have used it and have not noticed any change in performace.

The weight it takes to wrap each limb is about just over 200 grains for each limb. is adding that weight different to the bow on the limbs than adding that weight to the string?

Granted not all that weight is on the working part of the limb either

Why not just put it on the back and trim the edges. No real need to wrap the whole limb. You could reduce that extra physical weight considerably by doing so.

Pat,
It clings to itself only. I would have to glue it to the limb to do that which might not be a bad idea. Anyone in the medical field knows it as coban

Same stuff we buy at the tack store . We wrap our grips with it in summer to keep sweaty hand from slipping. Have you considered "limb station's "? I know that camo tape like duck tape can reflec sunlight.

Pig Gunner,
I have some Limbsations ASAT coming for another bow. Hope they don't shine too much

Do you need camo on your bow? Lots of folks hunt without it.

I have limbsations on my ilf recurve. Mine are what looks to be a predator camo and they are nice and matte with no shine.

Pat,
Don't need it and have killed deer without it.

Good to hear about the Limbsations!

Not sure about performance, but have you seen the woodland "Fred Bear" camo Limb stations? Look pretty sweet.

Personally, like the lamination on my bows just fine.  Paid good money, don't need to cover it.

Need a camo bow?  No more than I need an exotic wood riser and laminates.  I think a camo bow looks good.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

That's what I'm talking about brother! Heck, camo wrap or the Limbsations keep those limbs protected as well.

I have copperhead limbsations on the back of my 1972 Bear Super Kodiak and have noticed no difference in performance.

I wrapped my bow in the same self adhesive wrap that's made for rifles.   Worked great,  no residue,  protected three bow while I was in the thick stuff and easy to remove.

tzolk

I put Limbsations on my 1 piece Whistler. Just on the back though [attachment=1,msg2911323]
