2020 Bow Swap Progress Thread

I put a couple coats of feeler this week. I really like the way it makes the wood pop.
Today I shot the first coat of gloss. Should be ready to ship next week

This is what I am using as feeler. A friend introduced me to this stuff. You really don't need a lot and it cures in minutes in the sunlight.

Second coat of gloss tonight.

Just a quick update, sanding my little heart out! It's always "just a little more and it'll be perfect" right? Spraying tomorrow and on track for mailing this week. Pictures when I don't think it's still too ugly (later today).

I put the last coat of finish on last night. I got the leather rest cut and fitted. Still have to decide on the dye color for it and twist a string

Chris, the more I look at that riser pic, the more I like it. Good job on the sanding... Look forward to seeing it with some finish on it.

Someone is going to get lucky with these last few bows. Looks like we are heading for everything shipped before the end of the grace period! Not bad for a crazy COVID year.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Makes me feel better about the bow as I'm not exactly happy with it. This bow will ship with a standing offer to replace if my victim isn't happy with it.
