Snakey osage bow rack

I posted this on another site and I thought I'd share it here too.  I made it from an osage log that has been dead for decades.  I made the pegs from osage also. 











Please ignore the ugly blue paint.  It won't be like that for long.

No, it's not spalted.  It's just weather cracked from being dead for decades.

Yes Pat.  I'm going to take the other half of the log and use it.  I'll probably cut it in half lengthwise to make 2 shorter racks.  It will fit my wall space better
