This is my first attempt at making mosaics for risers.
combo of maple/black dymond wood/bocote.
will be sandwiched between .030 maple and bubinga.

I drilled and rough shaped a TD riser. Or maybe not??

Trying stabilizing a riser block for the first time. A friend gave me a nice slab of maple crotch wood. Hopefully it'll turn out, looks good so far. I'll post some pics when it's finished.

I noticed the wrapped up leg.

I just figured Kenny had been teaching him to use the disc sander.  :dunno:  :laughing:

The disc sander is prob the safest tool in the shop ...til you make a hillbilly jig for making perfectly round wooden wagon wheels... :laughing:

My wagon had stone wheels back then.

I made them traditional ya know?
