2020---->What did ya do today?

This is my first attempt at making mosaics for risers.
combo of maple/black dymond wood/bocote.
will be sandwiched between .030 maple and bubinga.

I drilled and rough shaped a TD riser. Or maybe not??

Trying stabilizing a riser block for the first time. A friend gave me a nice slab of maple crotch wood. Hopefully it'll turn out, looks good so far. I'll post some pics when it's finished.

I noticed the wrapped up leg.

The disc sander is prob the safest tool in the shop ...til you make a hillbilly jig for making perfectly round wooden wagon wheels...
