You are right and I keep my fingers crossed and hope that it fits just right when I glue the first riser together.

But actually it wasn't too bad getting this set done. I made both forms by hand, used a ¼ router bit to shape the counter-forms. Then reshaped the counter-forms on my oscillating sander which has a 1/8 offset. So theoretically I am left with a 1/8 gap for the accent strips.

I definitely hope to. Right now I will settle for a working bow period. And then hopefully I will make them bows also.

Went out after work today since the weather was crappy and cut and split 8 really nice Osage staves and 4 billets to try a TD.

Multitasking today, building a static osage recurve and a flintlock rifle, both are almost done.

Flem

Damn Eric! You are an ambitious dude. Which one do you think will be more effective?
Did you bore the barrel yourself? Is there anything you don't do? :bigsmyl:

Shoveled a little snow, then shoveled a little sawdust in shop, now making some spliced lams of curly maple and walnut with an s curve in middle and some accents.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

That is my 5th flintlock build, much more effective than my selfbow, I bought the barrel ready to go.

Here is my turkey gun, 12ga, jug choked full, I made it as well, it was not a kit build;

Okay folks here it is. The $400 piece for my pellet stove. How many of you see $400 in this this

High on Archery.

Flem

I would have fixed that for $100., + the cost of a capaciitor :goldtooth:

Mike....I had to replace that same controller twice.  The first one was on warrant .Then with the second one I had to replace the blower because it wasn't  compatible with the new   controller. So I feel your pain

Crooked Stic

Al this one is suppose to be an upgrade for my stove. Thought I was gonna need a fan to $200 more. Had that been the case I would have looked into another stove.

So Flem how much total .....????
