I'm thinking about buying a Sage. I want to use it as a spare bow and to practice and reinforce good habits. So what would be a good arrow setup for a 35# sage at 28''. Thank you

Friend

A Gold Tip Ultralight 600 at approximately 30"s and a 125 gn tip should be close....would have you near 9.5 gpp...

Any ideas for aluminum shafts?

McDave

Do they still make the Samick Sage in a three piece recurve?  I see a Samick Sage listed on Lancaster in a one piece longbow or recurve, but the three piece recurve seems to be gone.  A see a bow called an Edge on the 3 Rivers site that seems very close to the old Samick Sage.

Yes. It's on Amazon for $79.

McDave

Probably a close-out.  Seems like a really good price.  You better grab that!

Lancaster Archery has the Galaxy Sage and Galaxy Sage Elite in their 2019 printed catalog.

Aluminum for a 35# bow I would start with 1716 or smaller/lighter. Good luck and let us know.
