Getting ready to head to our Aiken, SC farm for the winter and some hog hunting on my lease in Georgia.  So I decided to try one of my Red Wing Hunters this year...but the riser is so fat.  Solution diet with my knife grinder and a little elbow grease...tippit

Top is regular Red Wing Hunter/ Bottom is re-worked riser...

Looks good, I prefer a low grip myself.

The Red Wings I've had and shot were all really smooth.  Considering your bow collection, my guess is this one is smother then most the others.

A great looking modification.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

You did a real nice job on that!
Good luck with the hogs!

Looks good Jeff , let me know if you need help controlling the hogs.

Kelly

Looks good, Jeff but I prefer the grips like they came from the factory but that's me. The 1962(which both of yours are with Brazilian Rosewood handle) thru 1966(which had a similar shaped Bubinga handle) had the best grips IMO and were very smooth drawing and great shooters.

Ted & Kelly,
Actually I was thinking of you guys...but I didn't want y'all to miss your winter snow.  Just concerned about your health...would probably be just too hot in southern Georgia to chase hogs.
