We finally opened a doe season up here after a multiple year hiatus. My son and I went out to try our luck while we had some light snowfall.

The snow and my son never stuck but I did!!

She went 80 yards following a pass through from my TT Stickflinger at 14-15 yards.

She's currently ready for transport to my daughter in college in the form of bratwurst and steaks!!

Joe I'd love too, but I can't give you the exact one.  A guy I know mixes it for me.  His daughter and mine went to school together.  He's a butcher and makes me my brats, breakfast and summer sausage mixes. PM and I will be happy to pass any information along.

Congrats on your doe and feeding your college age daughter.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Oh to have a butcher friend! Ha!  Congrats on the doe!

Congratulations on a fine deer.

You done good.....really good!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
