Just bought this Cheyenne combo but haven't recieved it yet and was wondering who of you out there might have this same Cheyenne combo setup, and what do you like or even dislike about it? Just looking for feedback.

I have heard nothing but great things about the Cheyenne model especially from fellow TG brothers like JC. So needless to say I am beyond excited and am anticipating it's arrival!

Thanks for any thoughts or input!

That A riser C limb combo at 58" should make a nice bow. I've had a couple of Bob's TD bows that were 58" and I've got another Cheyenne coming at that length.

IMO the Cheyenne is the best bow Bob's made to date and I've had a bunch of his bows including Arapaho Shawnees, older model TD's and the newer Cheyenne. The Cheyenne is faster, smoother and quieter.

I have that combo in the Shawnee with longbow limbs. For me it is ideal; very accurate, and Bob helped me make it quiet as a church mouse.

Deer Slayer

Just curious,....was it loud to start with? What did he tell you to do to get it quiet? Thanks.

Bjorn

Yes, it was louder than I wanted it to be for sure-but I will admit I am very fussy. Bob suggested I use cat whiskers and slide them up and down till I hit the 'sweet spot'--10" from the nocks worked; my arrows are 650-675 grains. The Arapahoe limbs for that riser were already very quiet with my usual mink silencers.
