Keith, Your right on point..Ive never had a bow by Duane, but he really knows how to make one Purty..Thanks for the pics, Im leaning towards Jim Neeves doing the Stipple and go ahead and hit it with his "special" texture..

I didn't have Jim stipple my Centaur but if his "texturing" has the same quality as his bows you'll have an exceptional piece.

I much prefer the stipples grip over checkering. There are more than 1 way to do just about anything and stippling a grip falls in that category for me. I like checkering on a gun ,but I prefer stippling on my Bows.
I like to lay out a border as in a checkering setup and stipple randomly with a fine tip.

Tim..That's some mighty fine Stippling..

The only problem with checkering is that it wears smooth over time. I have never had it on a bow, but I have numerous firearms. I have had several bows that had smooth grips and had no slippage problem, even in the heat and humidity of Georgia. It seems that the best choice is simply the one that feels the best to the individual archer. As for looks, I like them all.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I made my decision..Jerry

I wrap my bow with rawhide lace. Gives me grip without changing bow. I shoot with a snug grip and don't torque, ............YMMV
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
