The Shrew was introduced in 1994, 25 years ago. It was described as a "bold innovation". There had been short recurves available for a long time but no one was making a short longbow back then. It took awhile for people to realize with the right design (forward handle) a short longbow would disprove the idea that short bows stacked and were unstable. It wasn't long before other bow makers were making short bows also.

We live in the present, we dream of the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Life is like a wet sponge, you gotta squeeze it until you get every drop it has to offer

A 30 year warranty would place these fellas at about 118 years old, I'd say that's good enough.  :goldtooth:
