Haven't been building much lately but had time to refinish this one. A buddy was wanting some stippling done. I stippled his widow and refinished it for him.

I used buffalo hide and a top coat of Krystal dull from Big Jim.

I've finally got some time to start building some. Got a big chunk of macasser ebony and some kingwood that's been calling my name. Might have to start making some dust pretty soon.  :bigsmyl:

Now I'm really curious. You used conversion varnish over epoxy?
How long did you have to let the epoxy cure before shooting the varnish?
Any reason why you did not just rub out the epoxy for the dull finish?
Sorry for all the questions, but this is really interesting!

Yep been doing it that way for awhile now. Haven't seen any issues with it. I use to rub the finish but like the looks of the dull better. Just spray like normal.

Starting to reconsider epoxy as a finish.
