Does anybody have any experience with the short night model by 7 lakes? Ive been talking to mike about having one built as im wanting a moderately short mild r/d design but want a grip similar to a hill style longbow. He said the grip will be no problem on that model and it basically meets all the criteria i have been looking for.
60-62"
Mild r/d
D shape at brace
The more i think about it i really havent seen another model that fits as perfectly to what i want as the short night just want to hear some input before i pull the trigger. Its coming down between this model, a shorter forward handle h.h. cheetah or a shorter forward handle mcbroom.

No experience with Short Night but I have Mikes SF Silent Night.  Wonderful bow.  You will not regret getting a 7 Lakes!

I currently have three 7 Lakes bows, including the r/d model that you refer to in the 64" length, and I recommend them very highly. In addition, Mike Ballenger's approach to customer service is absolutely top notch.

There ya go from the mouths of two of Mike's top salesmen! 👍

I would also like to hear from others what they think about the short night. I have communicated a few times with Mike about one, but just have not pulled the trigger yet.

I have a Long Night and it shoots well. Feels nimble in hand and smooth.

Mike offers a new forward handle model called the Nightshade.  Very exciting!!

I've been wanting to talk to him about getting one of these built.

I don't have a short night,but do have a long night,and it's a very nice bow.

I had a 60 in. short night for several years . It was a very nice bow very quiet and easy to shoot .
