Those are big gar! I'm not sure if we have Alligator Gar in Georgia, but we do have other types. I think they are considered trash fish and have no limit. At least that used to be the case. It sure would be fun to stick one of those big fish.

No problems with the stock set up but it does take a team to get them in the boat. What we do is let 1 person pick the shot they want and after they "stick" the fish and bring it to the surface everyone else with shoot it also to insure the fish gets landed. The fish belongs to whoever makes the first shot.
You can land one by yourself if it is in pretty clear water but it can be a heck of a fight!
