I use a lot of denatured alcohol and I can get a gallon of it for the same price some vendors want for a quart.

Fear not Fellow Bowyer...  Your days of suffering and spilled acetone are over...   :goldtooth:

Get a funnel and pour your solvents in a dish detergent bottle...  When you need some just squirt a little out with no waste or spillage...

**  Warning  **  All plastic bottles are not compatible with the solvent and will melt...  Pour a about an inch or so of solvent in the bottle and wait about a week and inspect the bottle...  I found that a Joy Bottle works for acetone...  But you may want to test it anyway...

I use different shaped bottles for different solvents so that there is no confusion or mistakes made using the wrong solvent...

Touching a rag up to the opening of a gallon jug slowly contaminates the solvent inside every time you use it...

My dog will do em' for ya.
Lmao. Never seen a dog that wouldn't lick a plate clean. My old lab used to put one foot on the plate to keep it from sliding so he could get it spit shined.

Lonnie, I been thinking here.

And no smart a$$ comments boys...

You can make your own pour spout.

Take a lid from an old can, drill a hole in it and solder a 1/4" or 3/8th" soft copper tube in it, long as ya want.

Then make a rubber seal for it, or remove the seal in it and affix the tube, then put the seal back in.
