GT Warriors are good arrows and I've used them quite a bit but the don't have the gpi the BE Vintage do so I just stuck with them.

I probably have no standing to express opinion on carbons but I ll just say that I have been experimenting with GT Entradas 700 cut to 28" ( I draw  26" and hold 40#) they however shoot best out of my practice recurve  30# . As I am not a crack shot
or an accomplished hunter (yet) I am not real crazy about carbons in general.
I shoot with Easton Legacies 1916  from both my Longbow ( Jet)and recurve ( Java man) and they are just easier to use - less fuss
and much quieter. Also the cost is easier on my bank acct. Thanks.

When I've used carbons (I'm mostly a wood shooter) I just used Beman ICS Bowhunters...they're cheap and they worked just fine.
500 spine for around 45# bows that were close to center cut with 2-300 grain heads.

That said I always find my way back to gold tips.  Shot them more than anything and I've had nothin but good luck with them.  Always just run standard diameter, and this year I'm playing with 100grain brass insets and aluminum footing.

Everything I use for all of my bows is of the 5/16 inch carbon type: Traditional Only; Carbon Tech Cheetah (my current favorite because I can load up with FOC and still have reasonable weight and trajectory); Gold Tip Velocity; and a few Warriors.

I use glue-in-glue-on brass broadhead inserts from 75 grains to 125 grains. I also use 3-Rivers carbon collars as footings. This makes a pretty tough arrow for hunting, and allows for a good amount of FOC.

I like the design of the Tough Head glue-on broad heads (I bought and tried some), but the oversized socket causes problems with the assembly of the point onto a 5/16 adapter if the shaft has any kind of footing, even the small carbon collars.
