Thanks to all , it was a good swap. Lots of nice bows...

And a special thanks to Dave, I'm bettin it took quite a bit of his time to keep all straight.(even if he did let Roy in...:)  )

I agree. Was a great swap. This was my first time in, and really enjoyed it. Lots of ideas and tips were shared as well as some good hearted harassment. Hopefully everyone learned a little something along with having fun. I know I did

Oh. And thanks Dave for overseeing the swap and for building Roy a bow that shows his true colors.

Got tip overlays glued on last night. Hope to start shaping them this evening after my boys baseball practice.

HaHa! Well thanks guys! I flung a few arrows through it last night and i like what I saw! (That would be the arrow hitting where I was looking)
Getting closer to finishing this thing up. I apologize for going past the deadline, but it won't be much longer.

Here, here. Huzzah. Hurrumph and all those other guy noises intended to display emotion without displaying emotion.

WooHoo! Sort of a twisty path to success and my "Victim". Not a smooth build for me but it came out pretty good. Tried something new that didn't work too swell and then tried something VERY new to fix it.

Always stressful to stretch your knowledge and skills but it can be rewarding when you make it work and learn something.

Sorry for the delay on getting pics up but between my son wrapping up his baseball season and my job life has been pretty stressful lately. I received my swap bow last Tuesday and immediately upon opening the box I though, wow what neat looking bow. I twisted the string up to try and get the brace height lengthened and shot a few arrows through it. Really quiet and shoots really good. Thank you Okkeith!
On another note I plan on having my swap bow finished by early this coming week. I'm in the final sanding on the limbs and then get the finish sprayed on and it will be done.
Here are a few pics of my swap bow.
