Nothing wrong with those hooks if you got them pulling straight.

Been a lazy bum for a few days, showeled a lot of snow though.
Glued on Zebrano veneer and clear glass on the back of handle today.

That is a pretty cool form you have there. I've noticed Mike has one for his as well, it's a great idea and I may have to get around to making one someday.
Skeater who?

Roy from Pa

Cut to shape and cleaning up the edges.

That's gonna be a beautiful bow Roy, you make some super nice bows!

Buemaker, I need to build a jig like that. I've been clamping them on with an old set of limbs, it works but it's a pain.

Mike what is the darker wood in the veneers? Gonna be a looker!

I did some sanding on the riser this afternoon, got it roughed out. Only a couple imperfections so far. I'm getting reminded why I don't use fiberglass for accents in my risers.

Thanks Travis.

That riser is very sweet also.

Crooked Stic

I like that Travis. That is tulip poplar and quarter sawen spalted sycamore.

Man Travis, I love the look of a slender riser and handle and you got it down pat. Beauty.

I'm still in the planning stage :dunno:

OkKeith

Here is the form I am building my swap bow on.

[attachment=1]

My "Victim" (Is it OK to mention by name?) is looking for a 60" bow. The form builds up to a 58" bow but I think if I continue the arc and cut the ends down I can get a 60 incher.

Most pieces and parts are lined out but may need to give Kenny a call next week.

In a moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.

*#$$!! Over achievers!
Some really nice work being done out there. I got the first glue up done on my sister risers. Two more glue ups and hopefully some warmer weather and I can start really building.
Dave.
" Vegetarian" another word for bad hunter.

Roy from Pa

If you mention his name, that negates the surprise.

goobersan

It's for me Roy. I requested a ridiculously long bow to compensate for something else
JK- I checked last night. OkKeith didn't give up any info.
